Background
A Green Urban Arbour and upgrades to the East and South Street intersection were proposed for installation on East Street, with aims to:
- improve the experience of walking and riding through increased shading, greenery and resting points
- encourage more people to walk and ride
- make it easier to walk between city centre destinations
- deliver a safer environment for walking and riding in Ipswich Central
