Council will install shade cloth along the top of the Green Urban Arbour while waiting for the plants to grow and provide more coverage.

Council has extended the road corridor permit to 30 June 2025 to enable a better understanding of the plants and summer conditions in Ipswich.

To help the plants continue to grow, the planter boxes are set up with a wicking bed which allows moisture to distribute more evenly through the soil and the plants, while reducing watering requirements.
