Urban Heat Research Workshop

RSVP's have closed. Join us for a workshop to discuss Urban Heat in our streets and its effects on our daily experiences.

This workshop is part of a larger project to conduct a three-year analysis about:

  • the identification of Urban Heat Islands
  • the community's perceptions about urban heat
  • how changes in urban design might mitigate the effects from urban heat

The results of the study, undertaken in partnership with Griffith University and the University of Sunshine Coast, will be presented at the workshop.

You can then join in a series of interactive games and questions which will then contribute to the final report on the project to be submitted to council.

Registrations are essential by completing the details below. Please ensure you register for everyone in your group.

Note: This workshop experience is designed for adults over the age of 18 and will be recorded for research purposes.
