The design, turning another 350 metres of concrete channel into a natural waterway habitat, was developed with the input of neighbours, Raceview residents and the wider Ipswich community through online and face-to-face engagement in 2019.

Key elements such as flooding, environmental benefits and usability have been addressed, with information available now on the Shape Your Ipswich page.

The Ipswich City Council team will also be on site at Poplar Street Park and are looking forward to showing the design and answering questions of the community.
