Ipswich, a new chapter is about to begin!
Stage two of the newly redeveloped Nicholas Street Precinct, including Tulmur Place (your new civic plaza with a fun water play area) and the new Ipswich Central Library, is set to open at the end of November and early December. Visit www.nicholasst.com.au for opening details.
Council is currently finalising an exciting events and activation plan and will soon launch a new Community Safety Strategy for the precinct.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for you and your family, we want to know what would bring you back to your city centre. And what could Council do to ensure that you and your family feel safe and protected when you visit the newly refurbished precinct?
We want to know how we can make this a favourite destination for you and your family. Tell us your thoughts and ideas by completing the survey below.
Your responses and comments will be used to inform Council’s Community Safety Strategy and Nicholas Street Events and Activation Plan.
(Note that stage three, completion of the new entertainment, dining and retail precinct and the opening of Council’s new administration building, is scheduled for completion in mid to late 2021.)
