Located on the land of the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul people, the Ipswich Art Workshop was established in response to the passionate feedback from our vibrant creative community. The Workshop can be found in d'Arcy Doyle Place between the Ipswich Art Gallery and the Ipswich Community Gallery in Ipswich Central.

The Ipswich Art Workshop has a vision to be a place where you can nurture your ideas, host captivating classes, participate in enriching masterclasses, and most importantly, forge connections within the visual arts community.

To help with this, council is now exploring a 6-month pilot program. Expressions of interest to participate in the pilot program have now closed.
