Council invites artists, creative industry professionals, musicians, performers, creative organisations and members of the community to share feedback to help shape the future of arts and culture in Ipswich.
The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a collaborative initiative between the Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland, and Ipswich City Council. RADF is dedicated to promoting the vital role of arts, culture, and heritage in fostering diverse, inclusive communities and strengthening regions.
Ipswich Civic Centre, Studio 188 and Fire Station 101 are launching two new programs in 2025 as part of their HATCHERY 4305 THE CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT INCUBATOR initiative and invites YOU to be a part of it!
Ipswich Arts Advisory Group (IAAG) is a collective of volunteer community members who have a passion for the development and growth of the creative community in Ipswich.
To support the professional development of local creatives a program of workshops will be on offer.
Each workshop provides an opportunity for Ipswich artists to convert their creativity into a career.
Studio 188 is an intimate live music and professional development venue in the heart of the Ipswich Central. This space provides an opportunity for creative development, community connection and performance opportunities.

The Ipswich Art Workshop is an accessible and welcoming multi-use, hands-on workspace, open to supporting a variety of arts-based initiatives. Full program to be released.

Council is excited to invite passionate and dedicated individuals to contribute to the growth of arts and culture in Ipswich. Council aims to bring together a diverse group of creative minds to support and enhance the city's vibrant arts and culture scene.
Whether you are an artist, a cultural advocate, or simply someone who cares deeply about the creative vibrancy of Ipswich, your expertise could contribute to advancing the city's creative culture.

Council sought expressions of interest for public art commissions in four city locations. Submissions closed on 13 March 2025 and are currently under review.
The Ipswich Art Awards is the foremost visual arts awards in the Ipswich region, celebrating both established and emerging artists.
The Creators of Ipswich Summit provided an opportunity for Arts and Culture professionals to meet and share their aspirations. With the Cultural Olympiad starting in 2028 and leading to the 2032 Games local artists learnt of all the opportunities that will become available.
