Play a part
Ipswich is entering an exciting new chapter in its development and recognises that arts and culture play an important role in creating a great city.
To achieve this, two documents have been created:
- Arts and Cultural Strategy 2018 - 2023: Celebrating Ipswich's strengths, identifying the city's opportunities and helping to shape the future for the local creative community.
- Creative Industries Action Plan: Building on the Strategy in consultation with local artists and businesses, it provides a clear pathway for focus and investment.
Ipswich City Council is excited to increase its engagement and collaboration across the community to build cultural capacity, deliver opportunities and celebrate our city's talent.
Come on the journey with us to make arts and culture part of our everyday experiences.
